Mandarin teachers 汉语老师
Our Mandarin teachers are Chinese students from the university who're enthusiastic about teaching Chinese.
We warmly embrace anyone who is keen on Chinese culture and language. Our Mandarin tutors and volunteers are committed to help those Mandarin lovers with what they are interested in about China.

We're a team of motivated individuals who believe that life at university should be fun, diverse and most importantly multi-cultural!
Hence we're devoted to organize various events at the university and get as many different people involved as possible. We also try to help Chinese students settle into their new social environment as soon as possible, because we know how hard it can be to adapt to this new life!
About us 关于我们
Birmingham Chinese Society - the Official Chinese Society in the University of Birmingham. We help promote Chinese culture and organize Chinese style events. We are very open to Western culture and would love organize events together with and involving members from anywhere else in the world! So why not become a member and enjoy as part of a great society!
We organize various events over the year, ranging from Lunar Chinese New Year to Sport competitions such as basketball tournaments. We currently have a range of sponsorships mainly from within the City of Birmingham to help facilitate and finance our events regardless of its scale!
We welcome everybody onboard, don't hesitate to contact us if you got any questions or even great event ideas!

Volunteers 志愿者
Our volunteers are students from all different years and different courses who're so kind to help us organize and run events. We'd be nothing without them, really!
Every year, Chinese society has been running Chinese New Year parties, and our volunteers would organize performances for this event and conclude the evening by singing a song together.
